Do Attractive Girls Get More Love?

Image
Acharya Prashant discusses the misconception that attractive people, particularly women, receive more love. He emphasizes that while they may attract more attention, it's often sexual attention, not love. Physical attractiveness does not equate to love, as love is a much deeper, non-biological connection. When someone is physically attractive, the focus tends to shift toward the body rather than the person’s true essence, making it harder for genuine love to develop. In fact, physical attraction can actually crowd out the possibility of love, as it places too much emphasis on biological desires and superficial qualities. Attractive individuals may attract people who are more interested in their appearance than in who they truly are. In this scenario, those seeking love may end up with people who value their looks over their inner qualities, which can be damaging and shallow. What Is the Main Message of Bhagavad Gita?

IMAGE SOURCE: HINDUACADEMY YT CHANNEL In the Bhagavad Gita, verses 17 and 26 highlight the nature of duty and action. Shri Krishna suggests that the liberated soul has no duty, as they are content in themselves. However, even though they don’t have any personal obligation, they continue to work out of compassion, not necessity. Acharya Prashant begins by questioning the idea of wasting time. He points out that if you waste time, you’re likely also wasting other things, like opportunities and your own life. Time isn’t the real issue —   the real issue is you   and how you manage yourself. He compares this to someone focusing on pimples while ignoring deeper health problems like impure blood. The pimples (wasted time) will keep coming back if the underlying cause isn’t addressed. Instead of asking how to manage time, ask,  “How do I manage my mind?”  The mind directs where time goes based on what you value most. If you value sleep, you’ll sleep a lot. If you value chatting, you’ll spend hours gossiping. The key is understanding your values because time is spent according to them. If you can’t find time for something important, it means you’ve unconsciously decided it’s not valuable enough. When you are clear about what is valuable in life, your time naturally aligns with it. For example, if y...
